We are back from our trip home to Ohio. What a blast. We left Virginia Thursday night about 8:45 pm and arrived at dad's in Wooster about 4:30 am. After sleeping in on Friday we went shopping for Brian to get a suit for Emily's wedding. After returning home we were graced with the presence of the Longbrake side of the family. We visited with Brad, Sue, Hunter, Anna Bridget, Jess, Samantha and Tristan. What a treat to see everyone! The kids are all growing so fast. Lynda cooked us dinner on the grill that was so tasty (thanks Lynda). Dad took us on a "tour" of his garden, AMAZING, everything is blooming like crazy. He had zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, onions, cuccumbers and more. We were lucky enough to have some cauiflower with our dinner. It was so fresh and sweet, I ate it with out veggie dip and that says something! Way to go dad.
Friday night we had some time left before heading to bed so we drove out to visit my Stepdad Frank. We had a very fun, quick visit. We got to see all the new toys and take a tour of the house. He even let us play with the pain gun for bit! Beginners luck I hit the target on the first try. Needless to say after our visit Brian's wish list sure has grown.
Saturday morning Dad and Lynda took Brian and I to breakfast, yum! After a good breakfast we headed up North to Orwell for the big event. Emily's wedding. We arrived at Grandma and Papa's just before noon. We visited for a bit and then mom and I headed off to the chruch to get things ready. Brian stayed behind with the boys. The wedding was at 3:00. It was beatiful, but nothing was more beatiful then the bride. Emily looked AMAZING! The ceremony went well, everyone did a great job and I made it through the reading I had (phew) with out getting tounge tied or falling down the stairs. Following the cerermony and family photos the reception started at 6pm and we partied until they kicked us out.
Sadly on Sunday morning Brian and I had to leave for home. After breakfast and saying our goodbyes we left Orwell, but before hitting the turnpike,we made one last stop to visit with Grandma Hornak. She treated us to lunch at a local place she likes to visit. We spent a few hours talking and looking at old photos. She is well and it was a pleasure to visit with her.
We arrived back in VA after 10 pm on Sunday. The trip back was a smooth as the trip in. It was so good to get to visit with the family. We surely don't get to see enough of them and miss them all so much.
I have put the pictures from Em's wedding on our flickr site as well as some other pics from the trip home, so enjoy.

Trip to Ohio
Brian and I are getting ready to leave to OHIO...woohooo home! We can not wait to breath the Scarlet and Grey air...Can I get a OH--IO!!!
We are headed home for my cousin Emily's wedding on Saturday. We plan on leaving right after work on Thursday night and driving straight to Ohio. With enough good road tunes and coffee we hope the drive will be fast and uneventful. While we are home we hope to spend Friday visiting family, Saturday at the wedding and then a quick visit with one of my closest friends and her husband. Our plans are not set in stone, but we hope to visit as many people that we can. I can not wait, we only have 3 days :( and I just know the time will fly by.
I will be sure to share more about our visit home once we return so stay tuned...

Vacation
Unfortunately vacation has ended. Brian and I spent about 10 days at Murrells Inlet, just south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We had an amazing trip and I will be sure to write about it later. At the moment I am still unpacking, picking up the house and most of all getting back into the swing of things at work. Yuck, work!
So to 'rapp' things up, keep checking in as I hope to be sharing our vacation memories with you.

Update
I know it's about time, but Brian and I have finally settled on a site that we can share our photos with you. If you look at the top right of my blog you will see a link that says Abby@Flickr. When you click on the link it will take you to our photos. I'm in the process of sorting through all our photos and organizing them for you to view. So keep checking in each day as there will be more and more updates.

BOBTAILS
So here's the story. Brian and I just went to take the movies we rented back to Bloom. After parking the car out front, Brian looked into the front flower bed and said "Hey, look! Bobtails!" Below are two pictures of this plant in the front flower that Brian has described as this plant called "Bobtails"

So my question is what the hell are bobtails?

Redbox
Brian and I have found a new addiction "REDBOX"!
I'm sure I'm also one of the last on this bandwagon too but we are so totally excited! For those of you who are not familiar "Redbox" is this cool little machine they have at convenient stores like Bloom, Giant etc. where you can rent movies for 24 hours for only a $1.00. HELLO? I said a dollar! (This is where my parents are supposed to smile and think how happy they are to raise such a wise shopper). Last night we rented 3 movies:The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Da Vinci Code and Paul Blart Mall Cop
Jumping on the Bandwagon
So I have finally decided to jump on the "blogging bandwagon". I wanted to find an easy way to reach out to all our family and friends. So please be patient while I try to figure out all these buttons, windows, settings and gadgets. Maybe if I succeed, by the end of the week I'll have pictures available, a post each day and perhaps a relatively fun site to view. So stay tuned...
